Is shower water the same as tap water?

I know they ultimately come from the same source, but someone once told me that there were filters and things that are applied to tap (drinking) water but not to shower water. Is drinking a glass of shower water the same as drinking tap water? Of course we’re assuming that no extra filtration methods have been added.

Yep! You CAN drink the water from your toilet if you WANT to do so. Rover is drinking the BEST water in the house! *laughter*
